IMG_0049Mr. Anderson is a General Partner of Cannondale Partners LLP, a private investment company.  He is the retired Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Arrow International, Inc., a leading manufacturer of medical devices for both critical care and cardiac assist applications.  He joined Arrow in January 2002 as Vice Chairman of the Board and General Manager of the Critical Care Division and was elected Chairman & CEO on September 2003, and retired on May 2007.

From 1997 to 2002 he was President and Chief Executive Officer of ABC School Supply, Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of educational products based in Atlanta, Georgia.  Prior to joining ABC School Supply in May 1997, Mr. Anderson served as Vice President – General Manager of the Retail Consumer Products Division of James River Corporation since August, 1994.  He also served as Vice President and General Manager of the Consumer Division for James River Corporation from May 1992 to August 1994.  He was a marketing executive at Procter & Gamble from 1972 to 1984 and Vice President and General Manager of the Confections Division at Nestle Foods Corporation in Purchase, New York from 1984 to 1992.

Mr. Anderson serves as a director of Carpenter Technology Corporation (NYSE: CRS), a manufacturer of specialty steels.  He serves as Chairman of the Operations Committee of Carpenter’s Board and a member of the Audit Committee.  He also serves as a director of Childcare Education Institute, a private, on-line education company and Chairman of the Board of Sonivate, Inc., a medical device company.  He is a trustee of Lafayette College and of Alvernia University.

Mr. Anderson graduated from Lehigh University Graduate School of Business Administration in 1972 and Lafayette College in 1967 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and served as a Lieutenant in the U. S. Army from 1968 to 1970, principally as commanding officer of an engineer company in South Korea.
