In 2009, Christopher G. Caine formed Mercator XXI, LLC, a professional services firm helping clients engage the global economy. Caine is extremely insightful when it comes to the marketplace and uses his experience from traveling around the world and working in governmental programs to truly understand corporate responsibility. Mercator XXI provides support to execute initiatives on a global level. Christopher Caine is also the president of the Center for Global Enterprise, a non-profit organization that aims to educate individuals and study the impact of global economic integration on contemporary cooperation and society.
Caine discussed the difference between for profit and not for profit organizations highlighting their differing organizational models, implications, and overall goals. In CGE’s commitment to global and open education, they focus on educating millennials. Caine compared the organization to a worldwide reference library that is the first of its kind.
